Barka – Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested a suspect involved in a string of criminal activities across the regions of Barka and Seeb. The arrest followed an investigation into the initial theft of a motor vehicle from a site located in the Wilayat of Barka.

Following the theft, the individual reportedly utilised the stolen vehicle as a means to facilitate a series of further crimes. According to official reports from the Royal Oman Police, the suspect targeted several commercial shops within the Wilayat of Seeb, carrying out multiple robberies.

Police authorities were able to track the suspect’s movements and bring him into custody. The Royal Oman Police confirmed that the individual is currently being held as investigators conclude the necessary legal proceedings. He will be referred to the public prosecution for further judicial action.
