Muscat – Directorates of Education across the sultanate marked the anniversary of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s Accession Day with student operettas celebrating national unity, loyalty and the achievements of Oman’s Renewed Renaissance.

In Muscat governorate, the celebration was held under the auspices of Sayyid Saud bin Hilal al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat, and featured a student operetta performed by 300 students highlighting themes of unity and social solidarity.

Similar events were organised in Buraimi, Dhofar, North  Batinah, Al Wusta and Dhahirah, where student performances showcased Oman’s developmental achievements, cultural heritage and the aspirations of Oman Vision 2040.

The celebrations reflected the values of belonging and allegiance to His Majesty the Sultan, reaffirming the role of education in fostering national identity and pride among the younger generation.
