Manama, Bahrain – Oman participated in the 166th Preparatory Ministerial Meeting for the 46th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Supreme Council Summit in Manama, Bahrain, on Sunday.

The Omani delegation was led by H E Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister. The meeting is a critical precursor to the main Summit, which is set to convene on Wednesday in Bahrain.

Foreign ministers from the member states will review reports on the implementation of decisions from the 45th Summit held previously in Kuwait. Key agenda points also include discussing strategic relations between the GCC and global blocs, alongside addressing the latest regional and international developments. The meeting’s outcomes are expected to reinforce cooperation and stability across the region.
