Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has conferred Oman Military Order (Third & Fourth Class) on officers from the Ministry of Defence and Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF).
H H Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, presented the orders to the officers at Al Murtafa Camp on Monday. The Royal honours were bestowed in appreciation of their dedication and devotion in serving their nation and performing their national duty.
The ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defence, SAF Chief of Staff, SAF commanders, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, and CEO of the Military and Security Services Pension Fund.
H H Sayyid Shihab congratulated the officers who received the Royal honours and recognition. He commended the efforts and dedication they have shown in serving Oman and its leader, and urged them to continue their dedication and loyal service under the wise leadership of H M the Sultan, the Supreme Commander.

ROYAL ORDERS FOR JUDGES, UNDERSECRETARIES, SENIOR OFFICIALS
His Majesty Sultan Haitham also conferred the Royal Commendation Order (Second Class) on judges, undersecretaries and senior officials. The recognition from His Majesty is in appreciation for their efforts in performing their duties and coincides with the celebration of the National Day.
The orders were presented by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidi, Minister of Diwan of Royal Court, in his office on Monday.

OMAN MILITARY ORDERS FOR MILITARY, SECURITY SERVICES OFFICERS
Additionally, His Majesty Sultan Haitham, the Supreme Commander, conferred Oman Military Order (Third & Fourth Class) on senior officers of military and security services on the occasion of the National Day.
Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Nu’amani, Minister of Royal Office and Head of the Supreme Commander’s Office, presented the orders on Monday on behalf of His Majesty the Sultan.
This Royal honours from His Majesty, the Supreme Commander, are in recognition of their loyalty and dedication in performing their national duties.
The presentation ceremony was attended by Nasr bin Hamoud al Kindi, Secretary-General of Royal Court Affairs, Lt Gen Hassan bin Mohsin al Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, Lt Gen Said bin Ali al Hilali, Head of Internal Security Service, and senior commanders of military and security services.
