Muscat – The opening of the headquarters of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Muscat was celebrated today under the patronage of His Excellency Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in the presence of His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The opening of the embassy embodies and strengthens the friendly relations and cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Azerbaijan in a way that serves common interests.

In his speech during the ceremony, the Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his delight at the opening of the embassy in Muscat, noting that this step embodies the two countries’ keenness to develop diplomatic and economic relations, expressing his hope to enhance cooperation in the fields of trade, energy, agriculture and education in a way that serves common interests and strengthens the growing ties between the two friendly countries.
