The tournament highlights REFCO’s role in supporting youth development and advancing Oman Vision 2040.

Partnership with Action Point created a platform for nearly 300 participants to compete and grow.

Muscat, Oman, October 19, 2025 – Oman Refreshment Company (REFCO), one of the country’s leading beverage and manufacturing companies, successfully concluded the Oman REFCO Skeet Shooting Competition, held from September 25 to 27 at Action Point arena. Organized in partnership with Action Point and held under the patronage of Brigadier General Mohammed bin Nasser Al Kindi, Director General of Operations at the Royal Oman Police, the championship attracted nearly 300 participants from across the Sultanate.

The event comes as part of Oman REFCO’s broader strategy to engage youth and strengthen community initiatives that extend the company’s role in social and cultural life. The tournament underscored REFCO’s position as a partner in national development while aligning with the priorities of Oman Vision 2040.

“We are proud to have brought together Omani youth in a dynamic and competitive environment that celebrated sporting excellence and community spirit. With Action Point, we gave young Omanis a stage to test themselves and experience the strength of teamwork,” said Sulaiman Al Salmi, Director of People, Culture & Corporate Services at Oman REFCO. “Sports play a vital role in empowering youth and bringing communities together, and we will continue to invest in partnerships that support the next generation and contribute to Oman’s Vision 2040.”

Open to participants aged 16 and above, the competition provided a platform for young Omanis to challenge themselves and strengthen their skills. The top three winners in the general category were Faisal Al Jabri (First Place), Amer Al Shebli (Second Place), and Ahmed Al Toubi (Third Place). In the category for participants with special needs, Abdulla Al Ajmi (First Place), Ali Al Ghedani (Second Place), and Amer Al Shamli (Third Place) took home the top honors.

The tournament adds to Oman REFCO’s growing portfolio of youth and community-focused initiatives, including skills development and social engagement programs. Through these efforts, Oman REFCO aims to encourage a culture of participation and confidence among young Omanis while contributing to the nation’s long-term vision for inclusive development and empowerment.
