Muscat – Oman’s national football team will take on Qatar tomorrow (Wednesday) in the fourth round of the Asian play-offs for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The match kicks off at 7:00 PM Oman time at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Al Sadd Club, Doha.
The game carries high stakes as Oman aims for a vital win before facing the UAE on October 11. Led by Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz, Oman will rely on experienced players including Ali al Busaidi, Harb al Saadi, Jameel al Yahmadi, Mohsin al Ghassani, Salah al Yahyaei, and Essam al Subhi, alongside emerging talents Ahed al Mashaykhi, Abdulrahman al Mushaifri, Ghanem al Habshi, and Musab al Shaqsi.
