Muscat – The Oman American Business Council (OABC), in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz Oman, hosted an exclusive evening event for OABC Members at the Mercedes-Benz showroom in Muscat. The event, titled “Driving the Future – The Vision and Value of Mercedes-Benz Electric Vehicles,” brought together senior executives and business leaders for an engaging session combining learning, networking, and firsthand experiences behind the wheel of the latest all-electric Mercedes-Benz models.

Guests were welcomed by Rebecca Olson, CEO of the Oman American Business Council, who thanked Mercedes-Benz Oman for hosting the event and OABC’s Premium Members for their continued support. “It’s always a pleasure to host our events in our members’ spaces, and tonight’s setting at Mercedes-Benz Oman was truly memorable,” said Rebecca. “It was clear that luxury and sustainability are two words that perfectly define the future of Mercedes-Benz electric vehicles. The highlight of the evening was a talk delivered by Mr. Shaun Michael, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Oman, who shared insights into the brand’s commitment to sustainability and the evolution of electric mobility within the luxury segment. “At Mercedes-Benz, we believe the future of driving is electric, and it’s built on innovation, performance, and responsibility,” said Shaun. “We’re proud to showcase how our all-electric range embodies these values, offering customers the best of both worlds—exceptional driving pleasure and a meaningful contribution to a more sustainable future.”

Following the talk, guests explored the showroom and took part in test drives of selected all-electric Mercedes-Benz models, experiencing firsthand the power, elegance, and precision engineering of the brand’s EV range. The evening continued with high-level networking and refreshments, offering an ideal environment for dialogue and exchange among OABC’s Premium Members.
