Muscat – The Ministry of Health in Oman has issued an alert urging citizens and residents to update their personal information, including civil numbers and contact details, when visiting health institutions. This initiative is part of Oman’s national e-transformation strategy, aimed at enhancing and streamlining the delivery of healthcare services across the country.

Accurate and updated patient and visitor data is essential for ensuring the efficient and high-quality provision of electronic health services, supporting the broader implementation of the e-transformation strategy. By maintaining current information, healthcare providers can better coordinate services, manage records, and integrate electronic programs across government entities.

The Ministry emphasises that this effort contributes to a more connected, efficient, and modern health system, aligning with Oman’s ongoing commitment to digital transformation and improved public service delivery.
