Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued two Royal Decrees today, the text of which is as follows:

Royal Decree No. (80/2025), on conducting transfers and placements in the Diplomatic and Consular Corps Law,

Article 1: Ambassador Ibrahim bin Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Muaini, our Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, is transferred to the General Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Article 2: Ambassador Sayyid Yarub bin Qahtan bin Nasser al Busaidi is appointed as our Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Article 3: This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall be effective from the date of its issuance.

Royal Decree No. (81/2025) approves the signing and ratification of the agreement on trade, economic, and technical cooperation between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the Russian Federation, as well as the Protocol amending this agreement, signed in Moscow on April 22, 2025.

Article 1: Ratifies the aforementioned protocol as per the attached formula.

Article 2: This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and take effect from the date of issuance.
