Muscat – Ministry of Health (MoH), represented by its Quality Assurance Centre, has won the gold award at the ‘Star of Excellence in Patient Experience’ awards organised by the Arab Hospitals Federation in Abu Dhabi.

The award recognises the centre’s role in improving healthcare quality, patient safety and overall patient experience across the sultanate. It reflects MoH’s focus on embedding quality and safety principles in the health system and applying international best practices centred on patients.

The award also highlights collaboration among Oman’s healthcare institutions and strengthens the sultanate’s position as a regional leader in healthcare quality.

The sixth edition of the awards took place on September 17, celebrating healthcare providers that prioritise patient-centred care through innovative and sustainable models.
