The population growth was fairly balanced between Omani citizens and expatriates, though Omani nationals recorded a slightly higher increase. The number of Omani citizens rose by 54,915 to reach 3,020,307, while the expatriate community grew by 51,651, taking their total to 2,307,040.

Key demographic indicators reveal steady trends in births and deaths. In July 2025, live births among Omanis rose slightly to 5,322, compared to 5,040 in June. Of these, 2,759 were males and 2,563 females. Expatriate births remained considerably low, totalling 557 in July.

Mortality statistics for the month show a marginal decline among Omani citizens, with 624 deaths recorded, down from 632 in June and 685 in May. From January to July 2025, Omani deaths totalled 4,471, while expatriate deaths for the same period reached 1,119, including 163 in July.
