Muscat – Royal Navy of Oman’s training vessel Shabab Oman II has welcomed over 1mn visitors, marking a historic milestone and underscoring the ship’s global reputation as a symbol of peace and harmony. The milestone was achieved during the ship’s participation in Sail Amsterdam 2025, one of the world’s premier maritime festivals. A memorable moment at the port of Amsterdam saw a young Dutch girl, Jolie, become the one-millionth visitor to step aboard the vessel during its seventh international voyage, aptly named ‘Glorious Seas’. The achievement further cements Shabab Oman II’s role as a roving ambassador, fostering cultural exchange and strengthening bonds of friendship between Oman and communities around the globe.
