Nizwa – Dakhliyah Municipality organised the ‘Summer and Fun’ event in Nizwa on Sunday, drawing more than 100 children from across the governorate.

Aimed at those aged between 8 and 12, the event featured animal and reptile shows, pottery workshops, bouncy castles, and food and beverage stalls. The activities combined entertainment with learning in a festive setting.

The event was attended by officials, representatives of sponsoring organisations, and private companies, underscoring the role of community partnerships in supporting cultural and recreational initiatives.

Organisers said the initiative seeks to provide a safe environment for children during the summer break, while encouraging creativity, social interaction, and personal development.
