Muscat – Oman Post has unveiled a special art piece to commemorate the 280th anniversary of the Al Busaid dynasty’s reign. In a statement, Oman Post said the artwork features seven Al Busaid sultans standing side by side in a symbolic scene that bridges Oman’s rich past with its present.

Set against the backdrop of Old Muscat, the piece highlights iconic landmarks such as Al Jalali and Al Mirani forts, along with a traditional dhow – symbols of the sultanate’s maritime legacy and historical influence across the Indian Ocean.

A limited number of prints are available for purchase at the Oman Post Stamps & Collectibles shop in Opera Galleria.
