Muscat – In a successful repatriation effort coordinated by the Foreign Ministry, 313 Omani citizens returned safely to the sultanate from the Islamic Republic of Iran via Bandar Abbas on Monday night.

The operation was carried out in collaboration with the Omani Embassy in Tehran and other relevant authorities, as part of the government’s ongoing commitment to ensure the safe return of all citizens abroad.

The ministry confirmed that additional citizens are currently being processed through the Shalamjah border crossing as part of the next phase of the repatriation initiative.

In a statement, the ministry expressed its sincere appreciation to all parties who contributed to the success of the operation and reaffirmed its continued round-the-clock efforts to facilitate the return of all remaining citizens.
