Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received Saad bin Sherida al Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs of the State of Qatar, on Wednesday at Al Barakah Palace.

During the meeting, the minister conveyed the greetings of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of Qatar, to His Majesty the Sultan. He also extended best wishes for the continued health and well-being of His Majesty and for further growth and prosperity to the Omani people.

His Majesty the Sultan entrusted Saad to convey his greetings to Sheikh Tamim, along with sincere wishes for abundant success, happiness, and prosperity.

The discussion focused on enhancing cooperation and partnership in the energy sector, with the goal of serving the common interests and benefits of both nations.

The meeting was attended by Abdul Salam bin Mohammed al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority and Salim bin Nasser al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals.
