Suhar – Jindal Shadeed Iron & Steel proudly announced the inauguration of the Jindal Panther Football Cup, a dynamic sports tournament being held in association with the 3rd Suhar Festival. The tournament celebrates the passion for football and community spirit across the North Al Batinah region, featuring participation from six prominent local clubs: Al Suwaiq, Al Khaboura, Saham, Sohar, Al Majees, and Al Salam.

Under the esteemed patronage of Mr. Ali bin Ahmed bin Said Al-Maashani, Director General of Housing and Urban Planning for North Al Batinah Governorate, the opening ceremony took place at the New Sohar Sports Club Grounds.

Each club is represented by five sports teams, competing in a thrilling knockout-style format. This exciting initiative reflects Jindal Shadeed’s unwavering commitment to fostering local talent and promoting sports as a unifying force in the community.

The tournament began with a high-energy match between Al-Arabi (Sohar) and Al-Humbar (Sohar), setting the tone for an action-packed competition that will showcase the best of football talent from the region.
