Muscat – On the occasion of Oman’s 54th National Day, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, granted a special Royal pardon to 174 prisoners, including expatriates.
This gesture reflects a tradition of clemency and compassion during significant national celebrations. The Royal Oman Police announced the pardon, highlighting the inclusion of individuals convicted of various offenses. Such acts often aim to foster goodwill and give individuals an opportunity for a fresh start.
