Muscat – Under the patronage of H H Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, the 16th annual meeting of International Forum for Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF) being held in Muscat from November 4 to 6 saw a series of commemorative releases.

Oman Investment Authority, in partnership with Oman Post and Central Bank of Oman (CBO), issued a unique collection of nine postage stamps and a commemorative coin. These releases celebrate Oman’s identity as the ‘Land of Opportunities’ and showcase its cultural depth and economic aspirations

The collection, crafted in partnership with Oman Post, is themed around Oman’s spirit of hospitality, its rich heritage and diverse economic landscape.

Each stamp features iconic imagery from across the sultanate, including Al Mirani Fort, Muscat Port and al badan – the timeless Omani vessel that reflects Oman’s deep-rooted maritime and trade legacy. Together, the collection symbolises Oman’s enduring connection to global commerce and its proud cultural heritage.
