Muscat – The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation (MoHERI) will celebrate the graduation of 56 trainees from the Mobile Phone and Tablet Repair Programme on Wednesday morning.

The ceremony will be held under the patronage of H E Dr Muna bint Salem al Jardaniyah, the Undersecretary for Vocational Training in MoHERI, in the conference hall at the Ministry’s headquarters.

This programme showcases a successful collaboration between the ministry and the private sector, with funding provided by the Oman LNG Development Foundation (ODF). The cohort consists of 21 male and 35 female trainees.

The Mobile Phone and Tablet Repair Programme is designed to empower youth by equipping them with advanced technical skills necessary for competing in the smart device maintenance sector. The initiative aims to support innovation and entrepreneurship, align training with labour market demands, and enhance community partnerships to contribute to the national economy.
