Adam – The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA), along with hazardous materials specialists from the local authorities, responded to a serious incident involving a collision between a locomotive and a trailer in the state of Adam, located in the Dakhliyah governorate.
The accident led to a hazardous chemical leak of Triethylene Glycol (TEG), a substance used in industrial processes. Emergency response teams acted swiftly, successfully containing the leak and preventing further escalation of the situation.

Tragically, the incident resulted in the deaths of two citizens. Authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the accident, and safety measures are being reinforced to prevent future occurrences. The affected area has been secured, and officials have reassured the public that there is no further threat from the chemical leak.
