Muscat – Oman lost their second match of the Asian Qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup against South Korea 1-3 on Tuesday at Sultan Qaboos Sports Stadium in Bausher, Muscat.

South Korea showcased superior play as Oman tried to catch up, but Korea ultimately prevailed with a 3-1 victory.

The goals were scored by Hwang Hee Chan in the 10th minute, Heung Min Son (82′) and Joo Min Kyu in the 11th minute of added time for South Korea.

Oman’s goal was an own goal by Jung Seung Hyun in the second minute of first-half added time.
