Salalah – Ministry of Information’s Ayn platform launched the third edition of its tourism programme Eye on Khareef on Thursday, offering a fresh perspective on stunning Dhofar. This series highlights the governorate’s natural beauty, cultural richness, and the lives of its people.

Presented by photographer Haitham bin Khamis al Farsi, the programme takes viewers on a journey through the breathtaking landscapes and hidden gems of Dhofar. The show offers a visually rich experience that blends captivating imagery with insightful stories, bringing to life Dhofar’s unique customs, traditions and cultural heritage.

This season, Eye on Khareef delves into previously unexplored aspects of Dhofar, uncovering inspiring stories and secrets of the governorate. Farsi presents  stunning shots of Dhofar’s enchanting nature while sharing engaging tales about the people and places he encounters.

Eye on Khareef consists of six episodes, eight to 12 minutes each, offering a concise yet immersive experience.

Launched in 2022, Ayn is the largest Omani audiovisual platform. It showcases Oman’s rich history, culture and future aspirations through a vast library of content produced by Oman Radio and Oman Television over many decades.
