Muscat – In a tragic accident near Nizwa hospital, five Asian women were struck by a speeding driver while walking back from work.

The driver lost control, swerving onto another street and colliding with two more cars.

The incident resulted in three deaths: two Indian women and one Egyptian woman.

In a statement issued by Ministry of Health said, ‘The accident resulted in the deaths of three nurses—Amani Abdel Latif, Sharja Elias, and Majitha Rajesh—and injuries to two nurses Shirley Jasmine and Malu Mathew.’
