24 Apr 2024 Tejara Talks Event to be held on April 30

Muscat – The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion will hold its second Tejarah Talks of the year titled ‘Economic Development and Support for Advanced Companies’ on April 30 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center.

The event aims to raise awareness and exchange views on economic development topics, with the participation of a select group of speakers and representatives from both the public and private sectors in the Sultanate of Oman. The session will discuss an economic development strategy aimed at supporting the growth of local second-stage companies instead of relying on attracting companies from abroad.

Maymuna Suleiman Al Adawi, Director of the Oman Business Forum Office at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, emphasized that the economic development strategy supports second-stage companies by providing essential market information, competitive intelligence, and digital marketing strategies to assist them in their growth.

Al. Adawi  added that adopting an economic development strategy can significantly contribute to economic diversification efforts in the Sultanate of Oman, empowering local companies with the ability to expand, create job opportunities, and enhance our economic position globally.

Meanwhile second Tejara Talks   continue throughout the year with six sessions discussing various trade and investment-related topics and developments at both the local and international levels.
