Muscat – Honourable Lady Sayyida Ahad Abdullah Hamad al Busaidi, Spouse of the Sultan of Oman, and the Council of Ministers  extended condolences to the families of those who died in North Sharqiyah governorate in heavy rains and flash floods during the current adverse weather conditions.

The Honourable Lady sent cables of condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased. In the cables, she expressed her heartfelt sentiments of grief and profound sympathy to the families, praying to Almighty Allah to have mercy on the deceased and grant their families solace and patience to bear the loss.

Council of Ministers

The Council of Ministers also extended its sincere condolences to families and relatives of the students who passed away in North Sharqiyah.

The Secretariat-General of the Council of Ministers issued a statement to this effect, reading as follows: ‘With hearts filled with grief and faith in the will of Almighty Allah, the Council of Ministers extends its sincere condolences and sympathies to the families and relatives of school students who recently died in Sharqiyah as a result of the heavy rains and overflowing wadis that accompanied the current adverse weather conditions.

‘The Council of Ministers prays to Almighty Allah to bestow His mercy on the deceased, grant them dwellings in heaven and support their families with solace and patience to bear the loss.’
