Muscat – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested an individual of African nationality for defrauding a citizen on Monday.

In a statement issued by ROP said, ‘The General Department of Criminal Investigation and Research arrested an individual of African nationality for defrauding a citizen and seizing RO22,000 from him after claiming the ability to double the money.’

Legal procedures are being completed against him, it added.
