Muscat – An injured vulture was treated by the Environment Authority (EA) in the Ras Al Shajar Natural Reserve, in the Wilayat of Qurayat in Muscat. 

A statement issued by EA said, ‘The authority released an injured vulture in the Ras Al Shajar Natural Reserve after it was rescued, treated, and provided care over a period of five days.

‘The bird is a rare and endangered species of vulture found in the northern regions of Oman.’
