Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik conferred the Order of Royal Commendation – Second Class on 13 outstanding Omani individuals in appreciation for their remarkable contributions and active role in diverse fields.

The medals were handed over by Sayyid Khalid Hilal al Busaidi, Minister of Diwan of Royal Court, when he received the honourees at his office on Tuesday.

Sayyid Khalid said that conferment of Royal commendation reflects His Majesty the Sultan’s regular follow up and recognition of efforts exerted by all in serving the nation in all sectors. He hoped that the recognition will inspire more resourceful contribution to the nation-building process.
