Manama, Bahrain – Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tarik al Said was received by King Hamad bin Isa al Khalifa of Bahrain, in the presence of Prince Salman bin Hamad al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, at Al Safriya Palace on Sunday.

Sayyid Theyazin conveyed to King Hamad greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, as well as his wishes for good health and happiness to the King, and continued progress to Bahrain.

The king welcomed Sayyid Theyazin and requested him to convey his greetings to His Majesty the Sultan, and wishes for further progress and prosperity to the Omani people.

King Hamad commended the pioneering role played by H M Sultan Haitham in strengthening Omani-Bahraini relations, praising the progress witnessed by Oman under his leadership.

The king held cordial talks with Sayyid Theyazin affirming his pride in the solid deep-rooted fraternal bilateral relations, which are growing steadily, in light of the two countries’ keenness to constantly develop these to meet the aspirations of their peoples.

Later King Hamad conferred the Order of Shaikh Isa bin Salman al Khalifa – First Class on Sayyid Theyazin in recognition of his role in enhancing Omani-Bahraini relations.

Sayyid Theyazin expressed gratitude and appreciation to the king for conferring the prestigious order on him, praising the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to him during his visit.
