Muscat – Following the floods in Libya, Oman, under the direction of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, is sending vital humanitarian and medical assistance.

Oman Charitable Organisation (OCO) joined hands with Royal Air Force of Oman to dispatch the first batch of relief materials on Monday.

Libya is reeling from a massive flood that killed more than 10,000 people, wreaking havoc in the eastern city of Derna where bodies wrapped in blankets lined the ravaged streets.
