Muscat – The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) in North Sharqiyah carried out an intensive campaign to curb illegal medical products on Sunday.

In a statement issued by CPA said, ‘The Markets Regulation and Monitoring Department of the Consumer Protection Authority in North Sharqiyah governorate, in cooperation with Department of Pharmacy and Medical Warehouses in the Director General of Health Services, is conducting an intensive inspection campaign on medical products that should only be dispensed with a prescription. These inspections are taking place in beauty salons and stores that sell natural herbs.’
