Muscat – The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested nine expatriates on charges of playing gambling games in the wilayat of Izki on Monday.

In a statement issued by ROP said, ‘Dakhliyah Governorate Police Command arrested nine expatriates of Asian nationality on charges of indulging in gambling at their residence in the wilayat of Izki. They were found in possession of sums of money and a gambling machine.’

Legal procedures have been completed against them, it added.
