Salalah – A significant step forward in Oman’s technological landscape will be marked with the inauguration of the Centre for Hosting, Data Processing and Mining of Cryptocurrencies in Salalah Free Zone on Sunday.

The centre will be officially opened under the patronage of H E Said bin Hamood al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.

The centre has been spearheaded by Exahertz, a subsidiary of Al Afaq Technology, and supported by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.

It is part of the government’s strategy to encourage digital investment and facilitate the implementation of advanced technologies.
