8 May 2023

Muscat – The Indian School Board has announced enrolment of 4,677 children in all schools across Muscat for the 2023-24 academic year.

‘All those who applied for admission to Indian schools in the capital till date have been allotted seats,’ the board stated.

“The centralised admission system with online registration introduced by the board facilitated the entire admission process, making it convenient for parents and schools to take care of the rush for admissions,” said Dr Sivakumar Manickam, chairman of the Board of Directors, Indian Schools in Oman.

“The board is committed to ensuring that no child would be deprived of admission in our schools,” he added.

The online registration for admissions in Indian Schools in the capital area is still open for new applicants.

For admissions in the international wing of Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir and Indian School Al Ghubra, parents can approach these schools directly, the board informed through a statement.
Admissions for children with special needs are open at Care and Special Education (CSE) located on the Indian School Muscat premises.

Parents can approach the CSE administration directly for admission (www.cseoman.com), the release added.
