TRA, MoE call students to take part in letter-writing competition

Muscat – The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), in cooperation with the Ministry of Education (MoE), is calling participants to register for the 52nd international letter-writing competition for the year 2023, being organised by the Universal Postal Union.

The competition aims to encourage students to write letters on various topics to improve their education through the art of writing letters.

A statement issued by TRA said, ‘The competition is open to participants aged between 9 to 15 years. The letter should be written in Arabic, and may contain drawings. Participants must adhere strictly to the topic and the word limit of 500 to 800 words.’

The letter should be handwritten and attached in PDF format.

The deadline for receiving letters is Thursday, April 20.

The top three winners at the national level will be selected by MoE, where the winner will qualify to participate in the international competition.
