Muscat – In line with its customer-centric vision, Bank Muscat has launched an all new Salary Transfer Package to reward customers who are new to the bank as well as those who do not have an existing salary account at Bank Muscat. The new offer combines a number of benefits including cashback on salary credit, attractive discounts at select leading retail outlets, eligibility for discounted loans at highly competitive rates, limited free transfers and waiver of cheque book fees on selected books. The benefits do not stop with just the account holder. Immediate family members can enjoy supplementary credit cards with waiver of fee for the first year on both the main card and supplementary cards. The launch of this highly attractive offer came after a keen study by the bank of the needs of different customer segments in the country before coming up with a strategy to further enhance banking services and financial inclusion in the country.
Customers will be particularly excited by the option to get guaranteed cashback for transferring their salary to the bank. Those with salaries of RO 700-999 can get 5 percent of the total monthly salary credited as a one-time cashback for transferring their salaries to Bank Muscat, while those transferring salaries from RO 1,000 and above can get 10 percent of the total monthly salary as a one-time cashback subject to a cap of RO 500. Adding further cheer to the new package is the chance to get discounts ranging from 20 percent discount on non-promotional items as well as a VIP discount of 5 percent on appliances, electronic devices, accessories and extended warranties at select retail outlets. New customers can also get the fees on their first 3 fund transfers within Oman or international Speed Transfers reversed and credited back into their account.
