Municipality implementing rain water drainage project in Amerat

Municipality begins Amerat rain water drainage project

Muscat – Muscat Municipality is working on a rainwater drainage project in Amerat to prevent flooding.

A statement issued by Muscat Municipality said, ‘Work is going on to construct an open drainage canal in the Al Mahaj area in Amerat. The project intends to mitigate the risks of flash floods and enhance drainage of surface water in this important area.’
