Muscat – Wildlife rangers of the Environment Authority and Royal Oman Police have arrested a person for possession of a falcon tracking device in Buraimi Governorate.

A statement issued by the authority said, ‘The judicial control officers at the Environment Authority in Buraimi Governorate in cooperation with ROP were able to arrest a person for violation of wildlife rules. He was found in possession of a falcon tracking device. Legal measures were taken against him.’

The authority called on citizens, residents and tourists to preserve the environment and not violate the Wildlife Law.
