Muscat – Muscat Municipality carried out an inspection campaign to curb street vending activities in the wilayat of Seeb on the weekend.

A statement issued by Muscat Municipality said, ‘As part of our efforts to reduce the negative phenomena of random sales on the roads and streets of the wilayat of Seeb, Muscat Municipality in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police and the Ministry of labour carried out an inspection campaign in Seeb and issued several health violation notices against street vendors.’

These measures come after receiving repeated reports about the street vendors, who sell fish and vegetables on the streets in unhygienic conditions.

Muscat Municipality calls on everyone to abide by the regulations and laws.
