Muscat – The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion on Tuesday launched a ‘Made in Oman’ campaign under the auspices of H H Sayyid Marwan bin Turki al Said, Governor of Dhofar.

The campaign has been organised in cooperation with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), and the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ASMED).

A corner for Omani products was opened at Lulu Hypermarket, in Salalah, in Dhofar Governorate, marking the launch of the campaign.

Jamal bin Abdullah al Hinai, Director of the Directorate of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion Department in Dhofar Governorate, said that the campaign aims to support Omani products at the local and foreign levels.

He added, “The campaign also aims to enhance business environment, support and encourage Omani manufacturers and service providers who own small and medium enterprises, as well as support the Omani industry by introducing and promoting Omani products and encouraging local consumer to buy Omani products.”
