Manama – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and King Hamad bin Issa al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, held an official session of talks at Al Sakhir Palace in Manama on Monday evening.

At the outset, the King of Bahrain emphasised his heartfelt welcome for His Majesty the Sultan as a dear guest of Bahrain and its people. He wished His Majesty the Sultan and his official delegation a happy stay. His Majesty the Sultan thanked the King and people of Bahrain for the warm welcome and sincere hospitality.

The two leaders reviewed the distinguished relations binding the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain and appreciated the deep-rooted historical bonds. They also explored various aspects of existing bilateral cooperation in several fields and ways to enhance these.
