Muscat – The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) has raided two commercial establishments for selling expired paint in the wilayat of Khasab in the Musandam Governorate.

In a statement, CPA said that the Department of Consumer Protection in Khasab carried out inspection campaigns in the markets of the wilayat to ensure that shops comply with the consumer protection regulations.
‘Inspectors seized two commercial establishments offering expired paint for sale,’ it stated.

CPA called upon consumers to report any such malpractice and also urged suppliers to comply with consumer protection laws and regulations.
