Muscat – For the fifth time in a row, the sultanate has won two world cups of the Federation Internationale de l’Art Photographique (FIAP) in its 40th Youth Digital Biennial in the age groups of under 16 years and under 21 years.

In the under 16 years category, Oman bagged 462 points through the presentation of 20 works submitted by 13 photographers. In the under 21 years category, the sultanate bagged 457 points through the entries of 13 photographers who submitted 20 works.

In the under 21 years category, Mohammed Sulaiman al Shuaili won the gold medal for his photograph titled ‘Tafkeer’ (Thinking), while in the under 16 category, Mahir Naseer al Khusaibi bagged the silver medal for a photo titled ‘Iltwaa’ (Inflection) and Zamzam Bani Oraba won the bronze for her photo titled ‘Talashi’ (Blackout).
