Expo 2020: Oman Pavilion attracts over 500,000 visitors

Muscat – Oman Pavilion at Expo 2020 in Dubai has attracted more than 500, 000 visitors during the period from October 1 to December 4.

Some of the important personalities who have visited Oman Pavilion at Expo 2020 include Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, Dr Nayef Falah al

Hajraf, Secretary General of the GCC, and his delegation, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and the ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, UAE, as well as a number of European dignitaries.

The sultanate’s participation in Expo 2020 is in keeping with efforts to portray Oman as a unique tourism destination, as well as the country’s deep-rooted civilization and cultural heritage.

Expo 2020 is a platform to promote investment opportunities in different sectors in Oman and interaction with the global community.

Omani Pavilion at Expo 2020 is hosting a number of activities, including scholarly, technical, cultural and economic symposiums.

There will be several week-long events that focus on specialised economic activities, including an Omani products exhibition, a small and medium establishments exposition and an investment week.
