HM receives credentials of eight ambassadors

Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received credentials of a number of ambassadors of Arab and friendly countries accredited to the sultanate at Al Alam Palace on Monday.

His Majesty the Sultan received credentials of the following ambassadors:

Stella Kluth, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands, accredited to the sultanate.

Shaiful Anuar Mohammad, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, King of Malaysia, accredited to the sultanate.

Veronique Aulagnon, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic, accredited to the sultanate.

William Murray, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Head of the Commonwealth, accredited to the sultanate.

Khalid Mohammed Abdulhaleem, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Abdel Fattah el Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, accredited to the sultanate.

Qais Saad al Amiri, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Dr Barham Salih of the Republic of Iraq, accredited to the sultanate.

Ligia Maria Scherer, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Jair Bolsonaro of the Federative Republic of Brazil, accredited to the sultanate.

Amit Narang, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of President Ram Nath Kovind of the Republic of India, accredited to the sultanate.

During the meeting with His Majesty the Sultan, the ambassadors conveyed greetings of leaders of their countries along with their best wishes of good health, happiness and a long life to His Majesty the Sultan. They also wished the Omani people continuous progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty.

The ambassadors also expressed their great honour and delight in presenting their credentials before His Majesty the Sultan. They affirmed to exert their sincere efforts to promote relations of their countries with the sultanate in various domains in a manner that serves the joint interests of the Omani people and their countries’ peoples.

His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the ambassadors, expressing his thanks for their leaders’ greetings and best wishes. His Majesty affirmed that they will receive all support from him, the government and the Omani people to facilitate carrying out their duties.

The credential presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, the Head of the Royal Protocols and the Military Aides to His Majesty the Sultan.
