Muscat – The much awaited ‘elodea project’ planned for the upgradation of land spread over 20,000sqm in Muscat is all set to launch by the end of this year.
Located at one of the most attractive neighbourhoods in Azaiba, the commercial project, estimated at RO18mn, will be developed by Al Khalili Group in strategic partnership with Tibiaan Properties.
At press conference held on Monday, the developers said the area would be developed as per international specifications with a large number of shops, kiosks and restaurants making one’s living a great experience.
While introducing the elodea project to the press, the developers said an integrated modern market in the area will have more than 160 shops and 600 parking spaces. A modern design with high flexibility for ease of shopping and providing attractive interfaces for all shops will be its USP.
“elodea is a project that will have every modern day facility for our consumers and clients,” said Sheikh Qais bin Salem al Khalili, chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Khalili Group.
“The recent pandemic played a havoc on the global economy, including on Oman. But we are gradually overcoming this challenge,” he said.
“As we approach the big day on which we launch this spectacular modern and sophisticated project filled with various shops, restaurants for various tastes and a niche walkway, we can confidently look forward to elodea becoming a new added attraction in the heart of the city. It will not only be a one-stop destination for shopping and entertainment, but it will also contribute to the economy of the country.”
At the press conference, Al Khalili Group confirmed that it will continue to launch luxury real estate projects after the success of its projects, including the beach project on Azaiba waterfront and the Ghubra project in Muna Heights.
Fahad bin Sultan al Ismaili, CEO of Tibiaan Properties, said, “Working alongside a developer who studies clients’ needs and is keen to implement every recommendation according to the highest standards is one of the most important points of success for the projects. We are always exited to work in close collaboration with Al Khalili Group.”
