Indian, Nepali envoys bid farewell

Muscat – On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, received separately in his office Munu Mahawar, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the sultanate, and Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal to the sultanate, on Monday to bid them farewell at the end of their tenure.

The two ambassadors expressed their thanks to His Majesty the Sultan for the support extended to them during their stay in the sultanate from His Majesty the Sultan, the government and the Omani people, which had enabled them to carry out their duties.

They wished His Majesty the Sultan good health, happiness and a long life, and the sultanate further progress and growth under the wise leadership of His Majesty the Sultan.

Sayyid Asaad expressed his utmost thanks to the ambassadors for the efforts they exerted in serving the relations between the sultanate and their respective countries. He wished them permanent success and the friendly peoples of Nepal and India further progress and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by the secretary general and the two advisers at the office of Sayyid Asaad.
