14 Aug 2021

The Ministry of Health (MoH) will start a free vaccination campaign for expatriates in Dhahirah governorate from Sunday.

In a statement, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in Dhahirah Governorate, informed residents and business owners that the immunisation drive for non-Omanis in the governorate will start from August 15.

In the first phase, DGHS will target barbers, beauty salon staff, domestic workers and farm labourers.

‘Other target categories will be announced in the coming days. All are needed to make an appointment and bring with them their resident cards,’ it stated.

The campaign targets residents of 18 years and older and will be carried out from 8am to 1.30pm at Al Muhallab bin AbiSufra Hall in Ibri, Sports Hall in Dhank and the office of the wali in Yanqul.

MoH has been running a free vaccination campaign for expatriates in Dhofar and Duqm since June. It is currently administering the second dose in Dhofar.
